MARKETING: HWM Singapore, in a joint collaboration with smartphone (and now tablet) manufacturer HTC, organized a series of fun talks, activities and prize giveaways as part of its PlayTest series for HWM (and HardwareZone.com) readers at the Singapore Management University (SMU) on 27 May 2011. The event itself saw HTC unveiling its Android-based tablet, the HTC Flyer, which goes on sale in Singapore on 28 May 2011.

MARKETING: The May 2011 edition of HWM Singapore has been out for about a week now but we’ve decided to give you a sneak peek into some of its content here. In this month’s issue, we’re talking tablet devices, all-in-one printers for the office and going green with some selected products. Check them out!

Not only that, the October 2010 issue is particularly poignant as it is the 10th anniversary issue of HWM Singapore. The cover feature talks about the 10 years of technology since HWM was born, which changed the world. There’s also some well-wishing look-backs from different tech brands as well as forward-looking features, such as the IFA 2010 show in Berlin.

MARKETING: HWM, Singapore’s leading tech magazine and HardwareZone.com, Singapore’s No.1 technology online portal, paid tribute to 37 companies across 60 categories at the much-awaited HWM+HardwareZone.com Tech Awards at the Sheraton Towers hotel on 3 February 2010.

Thirty-two Editor’s Choice and 28 Reader’s Choice awards were handed out in categories ranging from computers, consumer electronics, communications and digital entertainment. These awards honor industry players who have introduced products of exceptional quality, innovation and performance released between December 2008 and November 2009.
