HWM Singapore holds its 3rd PlayTest for readers

May 22, 2009 By: TechToyer Category: SHOWCASE

logo_playtestSHOWCASE: The editorial teams behind HWM Singapore, HardwareZone.com and GameAxis came together once again on May 16 to organize and play hosts to readers and tech consumers in their 3rd PlayTest event, held at the level 2 auditorium of their office premises.

PlayTest was conceptualized as a precursor to some of the IT shows and bazaars held at some of the main convention halls in Singapore. This means that consumers can visit PlayTest to meet the editors and writers of their favorite tech media publications and ask for their views and opinions on what they should consider when buying computers (like processors and storage), consumer electronics (like HDTVs, cameras and printers) or communication devices (like routers or phones).

While the first two PlayTest events were mainly product showcases, the third one had a photography theme attached to it where attendees had to visit every booth and attempt different photography and photo-editing tasks. There were also talks given by Epicenter (on iPhoto and iMovie), Olympus, Intel and MediaFreaks, a digital animation company.
