December 31, 2009 By: TechToyer Category: MARKETING

MARKETING: Our sister website, HardwareZone.com, have produced several new ZoneOut videos over the past two weeks. We thought we share two of them here since they have relevance to HWM readers regionally.

The first one is a ZoneOut video on the new Microsoft Zune HD and it gets compared with the Apple iPod Touch.

The second one is a longer video chronicling our insights on what 2009’s been like and what we think (or hope) 2010 will bring to the tech scene. It applies across all countries HWM is in of course.

Meanwhile, the teams behind both HWM and HardwareZone.com would like to wish all readers a Happy New Year 2010. See you next year.

Hands-on with latest trio of Sony Ericsson phones

August 24, 2009 By: TechToyer Category: SHOWCASE

Sony Ericsson's Idou boasts a 12.1-megapixel camera, Xenon flash and full multimedia features.

SHOWCASE: HardwareZone.com managed to get some exclusive face-time with three of Sony Ericsson’s latest phones — the Satio, Aino and Yari — previously unveiled during the CommunicAsia 2009 period (for those of you who participated in our liveblog, you would probably have seen the commercials).

Anyway, the Singapore team wrote a summary of the features and produced a video highlighting the three different phones. We’ve reproduced the video here.

For an extensive article on what the team thought about it, check it out here. If you’re asking whether it’s coming to Asia or when it would be available at all, we have no answer for you there. For now, the Palm Pre is on sale only in the US by telecom provider Sprint.
