Here are the current commentators to the HWM site. These commentators are mainly Editors and Writers from our various regional magazines, namely HWM Singapore, HWM Malaysia, HWM Philippines, HWM Thailand, HWM Indonesia and www.HardwareZone.com.
PAOLO MANZANO (HWM PHILIPPINES):

Paolo Manzano, Managing Editor, HWM Philippines
Paolo acts as HardwareZone Philippines’ Managing Director and overall Executive Editor for both print, HWM, and online, www.hardwarezone.com.ph, publications. He is tasked with the overall growth of the company as well as ensuring the overall quality of HardwareZone’s publications and endeavours.
An avid technology enthusiast, marketer, and a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University, Paolo started off as a Technical Support Specialist for one of the largest computer manufacturers in the world, which he then parlayed into Dial - a - Tech, a single proprietorship that focused on on-site technical support and upgrades as well as custom built systems.
An experienced veteran of almost seven years in the technology industry, Paolo has consistently delivered cutting edge content, unique marketing initiatives, and extraordinary growth across all areas for all of HardwareZone’s readers, clients, partners and shareholders.

Jason Marges, Associate Editor, HWM Philippines
Jason Marges has a long-time curiosity and interest in computers and high-tech gadgetry. Formerly a staff at an NGO (non-government organization), his passion for tech has since brought him into the Hardware Zone (HWZ) Philippines family.
A graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University’s AB Development Studies class of 2005, “Jase” joined the HWZ’s editorial team since late 2006. As the Associate Editor for HWM Philippines, he is responsible for the assembly of the magazine, particularly with the generation of local content.
He is particularly keen on following the developments on mobile technology and the World Wide Web. His ultimate techie wet dream is to wake up in a world where there is free high-speed wireless Internet access anytime, anywhere.
When not at work, expect to see Jason surfing for random “awesomeness” across the Internet, chatting up with his bevy of online buddies, checking on the current fates of his alma mater’s collegiate basketball varsity team as well as the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, and keeping close tabs on the latest on the graphic novels and blockbuster movie scenes.
NAVIN DANAPAL (HWM MALAYSIA)

Navin Danapal, Editor, HWM Malaysia
Navin Danapal is the Editor of HWM Malaysia. He oversees the Reviewed section of the mag which tests Computers, CE and Comm products. In March 2009, he started the new SMB section in the mag and oversees it as well. He’s also the Contributing Editor of GameAxis Malaysia and oversees the new overclocking Volt! section started in January 2009.
Navin was previously from PC World Malaysia. In his free time he does research on Windows OS and keeps tabs on emerging tech such as the Singularity OS, optical wireless and photonic processors. He likes to gather community feedback on the tech industry, as well as experimenting with open source software and virtualisation. He also has a keen interest on green tech, interactive tech like the Web 2.0, and using temporal aspects in computing.
He enjoys selected desktop games like FreeSpace, The Dig, Dawn of War, SimCity, Command and Conquer, StarCraft, Day of the Tentacle, Syndicate, X-Wing, Alien versus Predator, Prince of Persia, Transport Tycoon, Diablo, Monkey Island, Broken Sword, Fallout, Quake, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Theme Hospital, Worms, Age of Empires, Doom, Company of Heroes, and is still waiting for Duke Nukem Forever.
VIJAY ANAND (HardwareZone.com)

Vijay Anand, Editor, HardwareZone.com
Vijay Anand started as a tech contributor and supporter of the then infant www.HardwareZone.com portal, back in 1998.
With a hands-on approach in news contribution, price list, forum moderation and hardware reviews, he joined the company full time in 2003. Since then, he’s played a key role in energizing the online content by establishing standards for testing, reporting, layout and style of articles.
With over 11 years of tech journalism experience, Vijay has been the main face of the forum administration team and helped grow the popular HardwareZone.com forums to what it is today.
Vijay has been the Editor of www.HardwareZone.com since 2005 and oversees all content production with the online editorial team that powers the portal.
In his spare time, he spends time mingling with the vast HardwareZone.com forum to understand the pulse of the community, home to more than 357,000 members, and better steer his editorial team to quench the needs and concerns of the community.
DAVID CHIENG (HWM SINGAPORE)

David Chieng, Editor, HWM Singapore
Occasional gamer, full-time geek and still trying to muster up the courage to ditch the PC for a Mac, David Chieng is now Editor for HWM Singapore, Singapore’s top technology and consumer electronics magazine. He is responsible for bringing a refreshing, insightful and in-depth look into technology for the monthly enjoyment of over 100,000 readers across the region. He is tasked with creating effective and cutting-edge copy, spearheading marketing initiatives as well as ensuring positive growth for the magazine, not just in the local aspect, but also across the region in tandem with partner countries Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.
No stranger to tech publishing, David was previously a key founding member for Malaysian tech magazine MAX-IT, where he built the title into one of the top two technology publications in Malaysia during his tenure. He was also behind the helm for PC Magazine (Malaysia) once. David has 7 years of experience for creating effective and cutting-edge copy, spearheading marketing initiatives as well as writing, editing and polishing rocks into gold under his belt.
His current interests include reading old-fashioned books, web technologies and social media as well as the mobile computing and communications industry.
TERENCE ANG (HWM & HardwareZone.com)

Terence Ang, Supervising Editor, HWM
Terence Ang is currently the Supervising Editor for the New Media division in the Singapore office, which entails working with the editorial teams behind HardwareZone.com and GameAxis.com. He also oversees general editorial direction for the division’s two tech and gaming magazines - HWM and GameAxis - and looks at ways for the different editorial teams in Singapore to collaborate not just among themselves but also with the Editors in Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.
Terence hopes to push the envelope in how creative content can be delivered through print, video and web media. In the office, he occasionally reviews and edits articles for both the Web site and the magazines. His main interest is in trends and announcements related to the consumer electronics and communications industry, and he often draws analysis from his eleven years in technology journalism to understand the undercurrents that drive the development of existing and next-gen innovations.
